Owners corporations are required to repair and maintain the equipment, services and common property that benefit some or all of the lots and common property. A maintenance plan is generally developed to assist in planning and budgeting for current and future projects for the property. If the owners corporation has a maintenance plan then it is also required to secure a maintenance fund to cover the cost of the works to implement the maintenance plan.
Due to privacy laws we are unable to provide contact details for anyone else in the building. If you are experiencing an issue with another resident, please notify us at email@example.com and we can help guide you. Unfortunately, we have plenty of experience in dealing with unruly neighbours.
Repairs to the common areas that can be attributed to the age of the building or malfunctioning equipment will be covered by the Owners Corporation. Accidental damage caused by a resident or guest of a resident will be the responsibility of the Owners Corrpoation to resolve and for the resident / guest to cover costs.
If you would like clarification around a specific repair and whether it is covered by the Owners Corporation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
